Registration of Interest for Enrolment in a Mainstream class

Please read the following information carefully if you are interested in Mainstream education at Trinity Gardens School. If your enquiry is regarding the Steiner stream which is an unzoned access stream, please see the Steiner section of this website here.

Capacity Management Plan

Enrolments at Trinity Gardens School are in high demand and we are currently operating under a Capacity Management Plan.  All schools in the eastern suburbs are under constant enrolment pressure. Due to a recent DfE assessment regarding our numbers being capped, a Capacity Management Plan has been put in place (to be reviewed annually).  Please click on this link to access the gazetted Capacity Management Plan Trinity Gardens School CMP Gazetted 29-07-2021 – TGS Capacity Management Plan 2021. Also available here: www.education.sa.gov.au/cmp

New applications will go straight onto our Enrolment Register.  To apply for our Enrolment Register you must physically live in the school zone and supply the school with the following supporting documents:

  • Child’s proof of identification (Birth Certificate / Passport)
  • Proof of address:
    • RENTING – Current rental agreement AND bond receipt (issued by the Consumer and Business Services)
    • PURCHASED – Contract of sale or Council rates notice
  • A recent Gas / Electricity bill
  • Visa documentation (if applicable)

If you would like your child to be considered for enrolment, please contact the School Office on 8431 4170.

All applications will be assessed in accordance with the school’s Capacity Management Plan and Enrolment Policy.  Zoning criteria will be strictly enforced and families who are not able to provide all the necessary documentation to the satisfaction of the school may not be considered for enrolment. Families will only be contacted once an appropriate vacancy becomes available for your child. Unfortunately, the school is not in a position to guarantee when vacancies at the school will arise. In situations where children are unable to attend their previous school, Trinity Gardens School can assist by organising an alternate placement at a nearby government primary school for your child to attend. During this time they are still able to remain on our Enrolment Register for future consideration.

Subsequent Siblings

Families who no longer live within the parameters of the Trinity Gardens School catchment zone who wish to register any subsequent children (sibling/s of a child/ren currently attending TGS) will not be guaranteed a place once you have moved out of our zone.  Your child who currently attends will not forfeit their place.

We are unable to enrol any International Education Program students.
